- an IBM compatible, running W9X/2K/XP/Linux, a Pentium will do. For Emu testing, a 500+ MHz P3 is recommended.
- if running Windows 98 or earlier, a recent version of the Windows Scripting Host. (Upgrade it if you cannot install)
- For the compiler builder edition, a Linux operating system, or a working Cygwin setup.
- The compiler builder edition should (!) also work on non-intel platforms, but VBA and other tools will currently only work on a ix86 based computer.
- for testing on hardware, either a FlashAdvance Writer, or better, a MBV2 cable, or best, both
- ideally, you will want a text editor that allows you to expand macro names. I use VisualAssist within MS Visual Studio, and it is worth every penny, so buy it. - a brain. Comes free with most humans.
